We had an excellent conversation with Albuquerque home stager Tessa Skeens of Hampton Redesign this morning on the Albuquerque Real Estate Show. Tessa brings a wealth of knowledge about interior design, real estate and marketing to her home staging business.
We covered a lot in our 45 minutes, everything from simple and free things you can do to stage your home for sale to more advanced staging procedures for luxury properties.
In our conversation today, Tessa demonstrates her wonderful ability to think like an artist and a business person, two qualities that don’t always go hand in hand. I was also struck with her ability to talk about the marketing of properties and to learn that she stages homes based upon the most likely profile of potential home buyers for each individual house.
