Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta is coming! I look forward to this time every year as the temperature cools down and the balloons start to appear. There’s something wonderful about balloons floating across the sky. I love the colors!
I live in Las Marcadas in Northwest Albuquerque. When the wind direction is just right we have balloons fly right over our house. Sometimes they land on the streets of the nieghborhood.
Tuesday,when I stepped out onto my driveway, this is what I saw. I knew there would be more.
Sometimes the balloons are so low we can see into the baskets. We usually wave to the riders.
I drove down to the Cul de Sac at the end of Tia Christina and watched as the balloon touched down behind the neighorhood.
Get ready for the Balloon Fiesta Albuquerque! We’re going to have a great one this year!
