ABQ Home Sales Continue to be Strong

Home sales continued to be strong in July, up considerably in most parts of the Albuquerque metro.

Not all sales have been reported, and the Greater Albuquerque Association of Realtors has yet to publish its monthly report. In the meantime please enjoy these preliminary stats.

Homes Sales in Albuquerque

ABQ Home Sales StatsHome sales were outstanding again last month in Albuquerque. 730 closed sales have been reported so far, up from 579 closed sales last year. That’s a 26% increase in closed sales again this month.

REO sales increased 41% while short sales were down 29%.

House Sales in Rio Rancho

Rio Rancho sales were off the chart again, up a whopping 51% over last July.

REO sales were up 36% while short sales were down 18%.

Sales in the Outlying Areas

Sales were up in Corrales, Los Lunas and the East Mountains while sales in Placitas were about the same.
