“It’s still a great time to buy an Albuquerque house. Home prices are down and interest rates are really low. What’s starting to change however, is home inventory. That means less homes are on the market now than there have been over the past several years.
What this means to you, if you’re looking to buy a home, is there is less selection, sellers are holding firmer to their list prices and homes that are priced accurately for today’s market and in good condition are starting to sell really fast.
Many of the Realtors I talk to every day are feeling like the buyer’s market is coming to an end. They’re very optimistic and they’re busier than they have been since 2007.
So, if you don’t want to miss the opportunity to cash in during this great time to buy, you might want to give it serious consideration. Over the next 6 to 12 months we’re going to see some serious change in the way business is done.”
